Grace Cristler is a young woman who works as a postmistress in Fairland, Kansas. Grace lives with her uncle, the town preacher who is set to retire. Grace is tasked with corresponding with the new preacher, Rufus Dille, and a relationship blossoms through their letters.
Theo Garrison learns that his three cousins are about to get out of prison. Theo knows he must flee before they come back and take their revenge out on him for not providing their escape during a robbery.
This is the second book by Kim Vogel Sawyer that I’ve read – having read and loved Guide Me Home. I was just as impressed with Grace and the Preacher.
The author’s writing is intelligent and engaging. Her characters are very well developed and extremely likable. Grace and the Preacher is definitely not just a romance book. It’s a wonderfully wholesome book that speaks of God’s grace and love. Thanks to Blogging For Books and the publisher for providing a complimentary copy of this book!
