Review of A Strand of Three Cords by Hannah Miller

Emma is a sixteen-year-old Amish girl who thinks she knows what she wants in a future husband. Unfortunately, she’s not quite sure which eligible young man will make the best husband for her – Jacob or Daniel. Emma’s eventual predicament causes her to become confused and conflicted. She realizes she must make the right decision for everyone involved.

This is a very sweet and wholesome Amish romance. Although the main characters are still quite young, their behavior is mature enough to make this an appealing story for teens and adults.

I was impressed with the author’s writing style, which was intelligent and engaging. A Strand of Three Cords comes with twenty additional stories – a nice surprise for readers. Judging by this first story, I’d have to say that I’m more than willing to read them all. A lovely surprise!
